Where are your Workforce?

Where are your workforce? Are they doing as expected? Is your exhaustive planning paying off?

Traditional tracking and location tools have tended to focus on the vehicle rather than the fieldworker, creating ambiguity when it comes to the exact location and current activity of each individual.

TBS’s TaskMaster Platform underpins proactive monitoring and management of the mobile workforce; giving you the much-needed visibility of where your workforce are, and more importantly, what they are doing.

Task Contextual GPS tracking, facilitated through the recently updated TM Locate module, allows you to see where your workforce are, and more importantly, what they are doing in context of your customer sites / job locations. Information displayed on the Console is configurable to your business needs, empowering the business to highlight any exceptions where things may not be going to plan – giving you the opportunity to do something about it in a timely manner.

Delivered via the TaskMaster Management Console, TM Locate can be used on the majority of web browsers, on PCs, tablets and phones to:

Support Proactivity – by displaying the job status of the user in relation to their location.

Enhance Customer Satisfaction – with automated notifications on your clients ETA, you can provide your customer with a detailed source of accurate information to enhance the customer experience.

Reduce Administration – by informing the customer instantaneously of their updates, if they call the office to request an update, the amount of calls and administration required to receive any update from the field are reduced.

Achieve SLA’s – by monitoring SLA’s in real time, you can ensure targets and deadlines are met.

With the launch of Version 2.0, and the additional new functionality, TBS are pleased to offer online demos of TM Locate. To request a demo, or to find out more information on TM Locate, please email

Samsung DeX – Turning any Place into a Workplace

Technology has become the great enabler of our workplace. Workers no longer need to have a specific work location to carry out their operations and meet their goals. The latest release from Samsung looks set to be a game changer for those workers who are not confined to the office. The Samsung DeX lets you connect your Galaxy S8/S8+ to a monitor, keyboard and mouse, providing you with a seamless desktop experience that is powered by your phone.

With access to apps, the ability to edit documents and the capacity to deliver presentations from a phone, users no longer need to carry multiple computing devices. The Samsung DeX is the ideal platform for task oriented workers, such as supervisors, social workers, inspection and audit, police, social care, healthcare professionals, that spend 80% of their time away from their office or desk. These individuals, who not only require real-time visibility, awareness and access to information that a Smartphone can deliver away from the office, but also the ability to undertake more detailed work when back at their place of work, will be empowered by the Samsung DeX.

Designed to improve levels of productivity for mobile professionals, the Samsung Galaxy S8 and DeX are fully compatible with TBS’s Enterprise Mobility Platform, TaskMaster, and caters for the mobile workforce that require transparency, accessibility and keyboard entry for certain activities.

With the recent release of DeX, Samsung have now made it possible for businesses to turn any place into a workplace.
